Vinton Garden Club Plant and Bake Sale tonight
Vinton Garden Club Plant and Bake Sale takes place today, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at
the Benton County Fair Grounds, open class building, S 2nd Ave, Vinton
The tables are full of plants and baked goods. Come early and take your
time members will be there to help you answer questions. Several fern
peonies to buy.
VSHS and VSMS 'Choral Night' set for Monday, May 13 at VSMS
A Choral Night" will be presented on Monday, May 13 at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium. All middle school and high school choirs will be performing. High School senior recognition and awards will also take place.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Floor seating and bleacher seating will be available for the audience.

Go 4 the Pin! Golf 4 Wrestlers, May 11
The 4th Annual "Go 4 the Pin! Golf 4 Wrestlers!" tournament. It is being held on Saturday, May 11. Tee times are 12:30 and 3:30 with lunch served between tee times. It is a 2-person, 9-hole best shot golf tournament played in groups of 6.

VINTON GARDEN CLUB 30th ANNUAL PLANT AND BAKE SALE
The Vinton Garden Club annual plant sale is scheduled for Friday, May 10th, at the Benton County Fairgrounds in the open class building. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The members are busy potting up perennial plants for the public to purchase. President, Fran Stueck said, “I would buy plants from someone locally that has been growing them in their garden, because you know they are hardy in this area.

PEO Chapter MZ will meet Mon., May 13, at 1:30 P.M. at the home of Marilyn Mehlhaus assisted by Kae Santman. Meet to carpool at 1:00.

PEO Chapter HG will meet on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the home of Connie Peterson. Cheyenne Boddicker who swam the English Channel will be presenting the program. Please note the change in meeting time.
Breast Cancer Survivors to meet May 7

Historical trip to NYC/DC in 2014: Meeting set for students interested
There will be a Parents' meeting on Sunday, May 5, at 7 pm in the HS LMC for anyone whose student may be interested in going to DC/NYC in April in 2014. This trip is open to anyone who will be in 9-12 grade in 2014.

The American Legion Unit 57, will be holding the annual Poppy Day.
For each donation you make, you receive a poppy to thank you.
Donations are used for the purpose of helping the area Veterans.
